The Fire and the Glory

The Lord views His Church as ONE BODY, ONE BRIDE. There are not many little Brides, there is only ONE. What happens to one happens to all.  (1 Corinthians  12:26). The Bride is in a cleansing fire...now.

 We stand this day at a junction in the Spirit of the Lord: will we choose God and all that He has, or will we dissolve into His judgment and be consumed? His Holy Fire, His Refining Fire are here in our area in a very big way. The time for action is now. God so deeply wants to release His Glory Cloud over us.He is currently hovering over the region, ready to cover His Bride with Holy Glory that we cannot comprehend.  But with His true Glory comes a cost -- will we pay it?

A friend received this word on May 19, 2007 during prayer: "Be lit, or be consumed." She was not aware of the content of this newsletter. The urgency in my spirit is overwhelming. Even young people and prayer warriors are feeling this urgency.

Rev. John Kolb ***of Clarion Call Ministries in Minnesota dropped me a note this last week in which he shared a vision for the Body of Christ that he received while at a service in Quincy, Illinois. He,too, was unaware of the message forming in my spirit. I want to share this with you and explain how it fits with what God is doing in our area.

"I saw a white horse with a heavenly rider on it, with a flaming sword drawn. The rider was approaching that church and began to do a deep work in the people gathered. We have received a report that it continued after we finished ministering there that night., carrying over into the Sunday service. Then early Tuesday morning -May 15- I was awakened by the Lord as He gave me clearer understanding of that rider and the drawn flaming sword. When first given the word in Quincy, I saw that the sword was three-dimensional, but at the time I did not understand the meaning of those three dimensions.

When The Lord spoke to me early Tuesday moring about the Rider and flaming sword,He said: " For the last six years I have been speaking prophetically that there will be a increase of 'Holy Spirit fires.' " The Lord has been declaring things will be getting 'hotter' in the Church, in the Body of Christ, and we have been given that declaration repeatedly through hotter weather and blazing fires in different states, along with often-high winds. When The Lord spoke to me in regards to the May 10 vision of the three dimensional flaming sword of the Holy Spirit, He said 'They represent three fires of the Holy Spirit- The Firepower, The Refining Fire, the Holy Fire.' " 

At a prayer meeting last week in Post Falls, as we prayed over communion, I broke in the Spirit and began to weep in repentance. The Body of Christ in THIS REGION is NOW in the fire of God and doesn't know it. It is busy blaming and complaining, even openly condemning one another, instead of repenting and seeking God.

For the last 30 years that I have been in ministries in the area, churches have split, ministers have given up, and flocks have been destroyed by everything from wolves in the congregation to controlling spirits in the pulpit. The territorial, self-serving,divisive dominions of satan in the region have been very busy. We must repent for falling into their plans, and embrace the cleansing of the Lord.

At the writing of this newsletter, one church in Coeur d'Alene has closed its doors. At least one church has imploded over the Holy Spirit, and many ministers are on the verge of quitting. Some struggle to keep their ministry going due to lack of people and finances. Commitments are at the lowest they have ever been. People are back-biting each other at a level I have not seen in 30 years.

He is shaking us RIGHT NOW- removing the wheat from the chaff, and refining us to burn away the dross. Our part is to pray, in one voice, in one heart. We don't need an auditorium  to do it together- we can simply do it now in our own building or home. IF WE WILL PRAY  in humility and turn away from the past attitudes and behaviors, then His Holy Fire will cleanse us, and His people will carry His Firepower! We cannot walk in true Godly power when our hearts are filled with flesh rather than love. It is NOT about our ministries, or our reputations. It is about a Bride without spot or wrinkle that is supposed to walk in love.

There are three sins in the earth that God has no choice but to judge: idolatry, immorality, and disunity. Let's remove the disunity right now. Jesus prayed that we would be "one as Thou, Father, art in Me and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me." John 17:21

What kind of unity? After all, we all have doctrinal issues that can't be resolved. And after all, we don't want to fellowship with sinners or fruitloops or nut jobs or heretics...hear that? The opinions, judgments, and personal garbage that we all carry against one another have to cease now- against leaders, against churches, against one another, against the lost. All of us are sinners saved by the Grace of God. All of us have been touched by the Spirit of the Living God at the foot of the cross. No one is perfect except Jesus. We can't resolve doctrinal issues, but we can FORGIVE, love one another and pray for one another AND for the LOST. If we can't love each other, what makes us think we love God? (1 John 4:15)

"And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and His anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the Lord, and the fire was quenched." Numbers 11:1-2 Read also Numbers 12 through Numbers 16. 

A couple of weeks ago, I listened as different people from our area complained about each other, churches, and leaders so hard that it drove me to tears. It had grieved the Holy Spirit. We cannot focus on the negative things in each, we must begin to praise the Lord, hear His voice, pray and wrestle with the right enemy, encourage each other, and rise above our flesh. Our flesh divides (Ephesians 4:30-32, Galatians 5:19-21), and the enemy comes with demonic forces to help us stay apart.  If we will put down our flesh, and turn our focus on Christ, the enemy will have no more power over the church. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

The Glory Cloud of God is waiting to be released over us in this area. Small pockets of His glorious Presence come to various groups and churches on an irregular basis. But He wants to release more. He wants us to experience all that He is, all that was planned from the foundation of the world. He wants a Bride, not in tattered rags, but one in a spotless gown of praise and love.

God wants North Idaho and Eastern Washington, and it can begin with us. I'm not talking about one big prayer rally, or one worship meeting where people can show off their spirituality, there have been countless numbers of those. I'm talking about each of us in repentance from our hearts with love towards each other daily. If you need prayer we are here. If we need prayer, can we call on you? We don't care what the name of your church is or what your doctrinal statement reads. We need that one voice, the one voice of forgiveness, prayer and praise, the aligning of our hearts to stand before the Lord as Moses did to ask for mercy over the Bride of Christ.
